About the Foundation
The Foundation for Craniofacial Surgery is a collective of individuals and groups that are dedicated to promoting the health and well being of children, both here in Los Angeles and around the world, who suffer from facial birth defects and other acquired facial deformities. These children all share a common strength that enables them to face the world on a daily basis. Unfortunately, that world is not always welcoming to children with visible facial deformities.
Both here and overseas, children with facial deformities and their families often struggle to make ends meet. This is particularly true in the developing world, but is also a reality here in the greater Los Angeles area. Families often do not have the resources to provide for all of the medical needs of their children, and the State of California often falls short in providing the services that these kids so desperately need.
We are an ever-expending group of doctors, nurses, healthcare professionals, philanthropists, non-profits, non-governmental organizations, and corporations who have come together to provide for these children what they cannot obtain elsewhere. We are children and adults, patients and parents, all in pursuit of a common goal: support the kids! And we would like to invite you to join us…

Our mission is to empower children who are born with facial birth defects in Los Angeles and around the world by ensuring access to advanced health care, engaging in scientific research, and emphasizing the importance of teamwork and community building.
